White Label Promo (WLP)
Date: 1970
Format: LP; the PROMO Stereo version may have been a limited edition pressed on virgin vinyl in better quality than mass production pressings. PROMO copies of early Doors LPs often sell for over $200 - $300 in mint condition.
Review: The fifth, most R & B Doors studio album.
Great songs on this LP - Roadhouse Blues, Waiting For The Sun, Peace Frog, Ship Of Fools, The Spy, and Maggie M'Gill (w/ that great walking bass line taking us down, down to Tangie Town!).
Grading: cover/disc – VG+/NM
Cover: Some major edge wear on top, minimal spine wear (EKS 75007 on left, THE DOORS/MORRISON HOTEL at center, and Elektra on right are all OK).
Front cover is virtually flawless. Has black & red rectangular promo sticker with big stylized "E" over "elektra" and "PROMOTIONAL COPY NOT FOR SALE".
The back cover is OK, with no ring-wear, and no creases.

Vinyl: Both sides are shiny with full luster and no noticeable scratches on either side. Under a bright light, both sides don't even have any detectable paper scuffs. See pictures.
Label: Perfectly clean white paper labels with large stylized white "E" over "elektra" in black circle - no spindle lines near hole on either side. See pictures – pristine! "PROMOTION PREVIEW COPY" & "NOT FOR SALE" (Except to collectors, of course!).
Record Sleeve: Original Black w/ Elektra logo over mirror image, no perforated edges, a couple corner creases from prior folds, in VG+ condition . Also, record is placed in generic white sleeve w/ one edge perforated 1", in VG+ condition with no corner creases. Will be shipped within white cardboard sleeve.
