Description

A rare opportunity to obtain a near mint condition original 7" demonstration only single from The Doors from 1971.

Catalogue Number K12021 A1/B1

Purchased from a BBC Radio sale some years ago, this single contains the rare edit version (never released on CD) of Riders On The Storm on the A-Side and Changeling on the B-Side.

This is a white label 'Demonstration Only - Not For Sale' advance copy, with the label noting the release date of 20-8-71.  There is a large red 'A' on the label, indicating this is a promotional copy.

This copy is archive quality - there is not a single mark, scratch, blemish or spindle mark - absolutely stunning quality.

I have play graded this single and conservatively grade as EX.  No background noise and no skips or jumps whatsoever. I cannot imagine anyone being unhappy with the sound of this one.

Comes complete with Elektra sleeve, in VG + condition.  No rips or tears.

I have never seen another of these for sale, and it is seriously rare - try finding another!
