Description

As mentioned above, 
Original 1st “Monarch” press with the “Oher”  missprint on the side 1 label…Vinyl is  VG;  some light scuffs & “hairlines” but nothing deep....nice deep black color, labels look good, bright gold color, no extra writing or marks, light wear around spindle holes..Cover is VG, moderate shelf/ring/edge wear and old tape along the bottom edge, name written on bottom edge front and on the back side …(I think it’s the same original owner before and after marriage :)…includes period Elektra inner sleeve..Ray Hagerty 10046 signature in both runout matrices..third of these I’ve sold lately..getting harder to find…

Wow, probably the best audio “mix” recording of this LP I’ve heard..the drums and vocals particularly sound like they’re in your living room..very clear and punchy..you can also hear an actual bass guitar clearly on some of the tracks, especially “Soul Kitchen”… it rocks…usually the Monarch pressings were the best available at the time, and this one does not disappoint..No skips on my non- professional turntable..Light static throughout, especially during the quieter parts, but a proper cleaning should help with overall sound quality improvement.. still a great listening experience!
