The Doors Self Titled Lp MONARCH stereo press

EKS74007 Elektra GOLD Label 1967 vintage pressing

These original Monarch stereo pressings are the only ones cut from the original master tape which is why they are so desirable. The other plants cuts used a tape dub according to hoffman and his thread. After hearing all other originals from the different plants you sure can tell the difference. It’s night and day.


Includes the original company inner sleeve.


The vinyl was cleaned in my degritter MK II. Was tested using an Ortofon OM30 fine line stylus attached to a medium mass arm on a vintage thorens TD165. The record plays with crackle that can’t be heard during the heavier tracks. The quiet passages is where the crackle can be heard. Grade is G+


Includes the original company inner sleeve. The outer sleeve is G+. See pictures
