Description
The Doors Soft Parade Original Stereo First Press Orange/Silver labels.1969 with original lyric insert and gatefold sleeve.
Record i would grade , is VG at best , it does look quite nice in normal daylight with an obvious surface mark on side 1 , but it is a surface mark, not a scratch or anything deep . In very brighter light it does show several abrasive marks and flecky marks and hairlines to both sides .
The record plays through with a vibrant sound with some surface noise and odd pop here and there , but certainly doesn't jump or stick anywhere. Its actually quiter on the last few tracks on side one in particular, but the music over powers the majority of the listen.
Labels are in VG to Ex with no writing on them .
The sleeve has edge ware, especially the spine as seen in the photos. There is a name in red on the inner gatefold, and a removal mark of something that was stuck to it .
The record has been played on a Rega P8 turntable to assess its sound quality.
As im a collector myself, i will remove the record from the outer sleeve and pack it with stiff card, as i would expect to receive it myself. .
