I am selling some items like Records, CD's, DVD's, comics, trading cards and other collectibles. I have been collecting and have for over 17 Years of experience. So I have some experience and grading and selling. This week I will be listing some 1960's, 1970's, & 1980's rock vintage vinyls all original unless noted. Up for sale is Strange Days (1967) Mono (R1-4014) from The Doors is not a 1st pressing but a Record Store Day Reissue with the Brown Elektra logo.                Tracklist: Side A: 1. The cover is in Mint condition as its still in the plastic shrink and has  being stored with out a protective plastic sleeve. The record is in Mint condition, no static when played from beginning to end both sides. This is The Doors second album as they go further experimenting with the psychedelic sound of the first album and noticeable with the organ in the titled track of the album It contains songs that were written in 1965–66 but which did not make it onto The Doors, like "Moonlight Drive", which was one of the first songs written by Jim Morrison. A demo of the song was recorded in 1965 and a proper studio version was recorded for their debut album but was not used. In 1967, a final version was recorded and released on this album. As most of these songs and ones from the first album where performed a few times before recorded in studio. They performed early versions at London Fog, Whisky A Go Go and Live at The Matrix in San Francisco in February 1967 release by Rhino. The only early existing live performance of Strange Days was recorded live at the London Fog as you can find a bootlegged incomplete recording on Youtube. Hopefully they will find the complete live concert of it and will release it we hope they do. The album was number 3 in the US chart and number 10 in France. There where 2 singles released for the album People Are Strange and Love Me Two Times that went number 12 and 25 on US Pop Charts.   
The album cover has no  flaws as it is Mint condition in a plastic has been preserve and stored away. The record has no scratches as it is still glossy I don't see any so it's Mint condition both sides. The record comes in a generic paper sleeve and plastic sleeve and does not come with the record sleeve.  The Record doesn't skip on both sides when you play from beginning to end , other then than that the label of the record and cover has no writing, tape, moisture damage as it is clean.  Other then that looks decent even the label is cleaned.
The Record was Reissued exclusively for Record Store Day this past Spring of last year thanks to us the fans for wanting a reissue for years of the Mono version hopefully with luck they will Reissue Waiting For The Sun in Mono as it has been able as well for years.The cover of the record comes exactly the same as the original 67 Mono cover minus printed with a different catalogue number in front ,back of the cover and the inner sleeve as well. Since this is RSD Limited Edition comes with a number printed in the back, you will be getting number 0782. The album are the Original Mono Mixes that been clean remastered from the original Mono tapes and has been pressed in 180 Gram Vinyl for best sound quality.    The record has been opened and played once to see if it had any defects when played as anyone recalls the issues with The Doors Weird Scenes Iniside The Goldmine that was reissued for the first times since in 42 years  for RSD last year pressed in Orange Vinyl Color in 180 gram has issues when playing certain songs they will skip or not play. That is the reason I opened it to make sure it had no defects 
The record even comes with an exact replica of the inner original picture sleeve of the band with songs and lyrics in the back printed in high quality paper. When I opened the record I noticed the sleeve is not attached  looks like they forgot to paste it or it just comes like that for example the first The Doors album 1967 Mono released back in 2010 for RSD  that wasn't attached as well. They probably figured out that maybe people won't want to use the sleeve for the record maybe that is the case. 
I will start the bid low get it while you can especially since this is a Record Store Day Limited Edition of the Mono pressing you get still get in the website or if your a huge Doors Fan or vinyl collector that what's a reissue if you don't have the original first pressing. 
This is my record grading standards I use, if you don't agree let me know and I will change it or give me your opinion. If you don't like my grading system then do not bid or think before bidding. When you bid like I said bid with confidence. 
RECORD GRADING GUIDELINES FOR VINYL RECORDS:
Mint (M): Perfect. I will only use this for a brand new, sealed item. Near Mint (NM): A nearly perfect record. No obvious signs of wear, though there may be very slight imperfections inherent in the vinyl pressing. Excellent (EX): This is a listing that may not quite be NM, but is just too good to be listed as any variation of “VG”. Very Good Plus (VG+): Record shows some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps not affecting the sound are OK. Label may have some ring wear or discoloration. Very Good (VG): Record may have some light scratches and scuffs that may affect the sound especially in softer passages of the record, but will not overpower the music. There will be no skips in the record. Very Good Minus (VG-): Record will have scratches and scuffs that will affect the sound. The noise will not detract from enjoying the record. Very old records with significant wear will be listed under this classification. There will be no skips in the record.
FOR LP COVERS & 45 & EP SLEEVES:
Mint (M): Perfect. Again…a brand new, sealed item. Near Mint (NM): No creases, folds, seam splits, or cut-out holes. Only the slightest signs of handling may be visible. Excellent (EX): This is a listing that may not quite be NM, but is just too good to be listed as any variation of “VG”. Very Good Plus (VG+): Slight creases or signs of wear may be visible. May be marred by a cut-out hole or other indication that it was taken out-of-print. Very Good (VG): Creases, significant wear, and significant ring wear will be visible. No splits or tape. Very Good Minus (VG-): Creases, significant wear, and significant ring wear will be visible more so than on a VG cover. Splits or tape may be present. There may be some writing on the cover.

The Record or Records will be bagged and boarded and will include two pieces of cardboard taped to the front and back for added protection.
