Description
I play all my records from beginning to end prior to auction on my Garrard 401 record player using a Shure V15 cartridge.
Here I have a copy of the ' The Doors ' 1967 release ' The Doors '.
The record is a first issue UK stereo pressing on the red with black lettering elektra labels and housed in the earliest fully laminated cover.
Cat no EKS 74007 The matrix (Hard to read) I think A-1A B (with A 1G either side)
Grading :
I've played both sides of the record. Visually the record is glossy and under light has some wispy marks either side. The record produces a beautiful crisp sound and I don't think I heard a single pop or click on either side. The sound is so clean I think Elektra really knew how to press records! Play grade EX.
The fully laminated cover is in EX condition, glossy with hardly any signs of handling. The laminate has protected the cover very well and the extremities all appear to be tip top including the spine which, although very thin, is still clean and fully displays the spine text.
