SIGN UPA bold stylistic shift in The Doors’ catalogue, The Soft Parade blends psychedelic rock with brass‑driven arrangements, orchestral flourishes and some of the band’s most ambitious studio production. Balancing Robby Krieger’s melodic songwriting with Jim Morrison’s darker, poetic edge, the album moves from radio‑ready hits to sprawling, theatrical compositions. This 2020 European remastered reissue, pressed on 180‑gram vinyl and housed in a gatefold sleeve, delivers enhanced clarity and depth while preserving the album’s late‑’60s atmosphere.
