The Doors  "Waiting For The Sun"

This is an original US vinyl pressing on Elektra 74024 from 1968.    This is a stereo, white label promo pressing of their 3rd album.   All early Doors promo albums are rare.   Unfortunately this one is in poor condtion.

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG- /  Record is G-

The vinyl looks G- and it plays G-.    Side one has a huge scuff across all songs.   There are also little scuffs and tiny scratches.    It plays throught without skipping, but it is very noisy.    The first song is very noisy and hard to listen to.   It gets a little better as the album plays through.   It does pop on every revolution.        Side two looks VG and plays VG-.    It's noisy at the very begiining of the first song, then it sounds a little better as the album plays through.   The cover is VG- with no writing  and no seam splits.   There is seam wear.     There is a little ring wear on the back cover.   The corners are worn and bumped.   There is 1/2 inch of sun bleach effect on the front cover along the left edge.     There is a promo sticker on the front cover at top right.     The labels are clean with some spindle marks.  The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve. 

The songs are : Hello I Love You, Love Street, Not To Touch The Earth, Summer's Almost Gone, Wintertime Love, The Unknown Soldier, Spanish Caravan, My Wild Love, We Could Be So Good Together, Yes The River Knows, and Five To One.

I have been buying and selling records for more than 25 years.  I sell records at all Northwest record conventions and at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.

I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.    One sheet is 3/4 inch thick triple strength industrial cardboard.   The other sheet is 1/4 inch double strength cardboard.   Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )  It will weigh 19 ounces ( 1 pound, 3 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal with a tracking number.      Overseas buyers must use First Class Mail International.   I will let you know the date I mailed your record and the US customs number.   ( Buyers from Italy must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )     I will remove the record from the cover and place them in a plastic bag.   I will send it as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM.)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.   There are no handling charges.    This record is from a no smoking and no pets home.
