Unique copy of Waiting for the Sun. After opening the Stereo cover it revealed the very early 1st Monophonic pressing with the 1st 1A/1A matrix numbers. Pressed on the east coast at the Columbia Records, Pitman, New Jersey pressing plant with the gold / mustard labels. Unipak - Pat. Pending gatefold cover has a "Includes, Hello, I Love You" hype sticker on the front. The listing comes with a promotional Elektra Records 68' catalog with the release information of the debut and Strange Days albums and a photo of the The Doors.

The cover is in Excellent condition. Side 1 is in Very Good Plus condition with Side 2 being somewhere Strong Very Good and Very Good Plus. Some light non-feelable surface hairlines and scuffs from the inner sleeve. The vinyl has preserved its beautiful factory gloss and lustre and plays well with only some occasional background noise. The Elektra 68' catalog is in Mint condition. The Elektra Records inner sleeve is in Excellent condition.
