Description

An original 1968 UK mono first pressing of The Doors – Waiting for the Sun on Elektra (EKL 4024). Vinyl is in VG+ condition with strong gloss and minimal surface wear; there are a couple of clicks on Track 4, Side 1. The original gatefold sleeve is VG with gentle edge wear. Matrix runouts show EKL 4024 A1 / B1, confirming its first pressing status. With only a fade-down mono mix (unique compared to later stereo reissues), this pressing is rare and highly prized by collectors — with recent mono examples fetching hundreds of dollars in auction and sales.
