**** Please note: all 78s for auction have been kept by the original owner since they were purchased. They were not lent out or played at parties. Although they are USED and have been played, it is equally apparent that they have been carefully looked after. Some of the 78s were played with a heavier needle. The Elvis 78s have seen a little more play than the others, but they are still in collectible condition. Unfortunately, at this point, I do not have a player to play-grade the 78s, so grading is visual only. All 78s should, however, be fully playable with no skips or jumps. ****

78 is USED, grades as Good. Grading, as mentioned above, is visual only. Strict grading under bright light. Signs of wear to both labels. Couple of needle marks visible on the label of "Nobody But Me". Otherwise, both labels look O.K. No writing on either label. Some wear to spindle hole on both sides, with more wear to spindle hole on side with "Nobody But Me". The 78 has minimal markings, scuff marks, and some light non-feelable scratches consistent with a record this age. There are some lightly feelable marks approx. 1cm in length towards the very end of "Save The Last Dance For Me". I'm not sure if a wash can remove these or how ingrained they are, but they should not prevent playback. There is also another lightly feelable approx. 2mm mark as well on "Save The Last Dance For Me" which, again, should not prevent playback. There is a lightly feeable mark of approx. 7mm as well as a scratch of just under 15mm on "Nobody But Me" -- of which approx. 2mm is feelable and produces a 'click' when a fingernail is run over it -- the rest of the scratch is lightly feelable. I would be suprised if either the mark or the scratch on "Nobody But Me" interfere with playback. Given the imperfections above, I have graded the 78 as Good. The condition should still prove satisfactory to most collectors.

Sleeve (generic) has beginning of seam split at bottom but is otherwise intact. Sleeve has creasing, marks, shows signs of aging and wear. It is still functional. I would grade as Acceptable.
