                 The EAGLES Story 2 LP Radio Show ABC Radio Spotlight Special 1980 with Cue Sheets

     You're bidding on a Rare Vintage Radio Show featuring The EAGLES produced by the ABC Radio Network
     in 1980 titled: Spotlight Special Presents The EAGLES. This excellent 2 hour show includes Music and 
     Interviews with the Eagles and was pressed on 2 LP's with a 4 page Cue Sheet.  The records look VG++ with
     light hairline scratches that do not cut into the vinyl. They play Near Mint with a occasional pop and a tiny bit of
     static in a spot or two. The Cue Sheet is Near Mint with some light browning around the edges. Radio Shows 
     were supposed to be destroyed or returned to the company after airing making this a Very Rare Item indeed !

A two-hour radio show featuring interviews, songs and historical notes about the band. Host Kris Erik Stevens, an ABC Radio Networks DJ for many years, provides historical notes between the interview segments and songs. Includes interviews with Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Don Felder, Joe Walsh, Jackson Browne, Bob Seger and Elektra / Asylum Records Chairman of the Board Joe Smith. No commercials are included on this set, and unlike most radio shows on vinyl, this set has Sides A and B on one LP, along with Sides C and D on the second LP. (Usually double LP radio shows were set up as Sides A and C on one LP, and Sides B and D on the second LP to allow DJs to play the sides continuously.) Note that Side B does not contain the 700 Hz Tone Locked Groove used for balancing the audio levels prior to broadcast, but Sides A, C and D do. (Side D actually has two such "tones", one at the beginning of the side and one prior to the Promo spots.)
