The Early Buddy Holly
VERY RARE Australian Only Release
This auction is for an ULTRA RARE Buddy Holly vinyl album. The Early Buddy Holly is an Australian only release on the Festival label (FL7112). Released in October 1959, it contains tracks from the 1956 Decca Nashville sessions. It includes the first version of That’ll Be the Day, which was later re-recorded and became Holly’s first big hit.
This copy is good for its age. The front cover has minor creasing. The back has ring wear and staining. The vinyl has scuffing and scratching but nothing that looks too deep. It would benefit from some TLC. There is a name written on the label both sides and a sticker has been placed and partly removed on Side Two.

All in all this is a good copy of a record that is genuinely hard to find. This will not disappoint the collector.
