Description
For Auction - Original 1976 UK A1 B1 1st press copy of Eagles - Hotel California - a classic rock album that needs no introduction & belongs in everyone's collection!
The record has been ultrasonically cleaned in our amazing Degritter & the vinyl has come up spotlessly clean & very shiny with a few faint scuffs and marks (see photos) No feelable damage. Clean labels & spindle holes - graded VG+
Playtest reveals a warm, detailed and open sound, very nostalgic in tone, with good dynamics. The vinyl plays through as it should with no jumping or sticking. Some low surface/background noise/crackle in a few places, most obvious between tracks, nothing that spoiled the overall enjoyment.
The gatefold sleeve is clean, sturdy & robust. Light wear to edges ,the usual corner rubbing, plus a few marks. Good readable spine No writing, tears, stains, splits or tape.
The original printed photo inner sleeve is present with a small area of wear through at the bottom. We have popped the record into another inner sleeve to preserve it - you will receive both.
The original black & white fold out poster ( which only came with early pressings) is included ( see photos).
A great original copy to own, play and enjoy, fully cleaned & tested, ready to pop straight onto your turntable & play loud! 99p low auction start so grab a bargain!
