The Eagles-Desperado-Super Rare Near Mint Nimbus Supercut Audiophile Rock LP

This is one of the very rarest and most in demand audiophile pressings of the second LP by the Eagles, Desperado, Catalogue Number K53008, pressed under license from Elektra/Asylum Records by Nimbus Records in the UK, and available only in very limited edition run (1000-2000 copies) only to subscribers of UK audio magazine HiFi Today Magazine. This LP was purchased by me used a number of years ago and was played only a few times, only as a source for tape recording. This is very rare and sought after LP with near mint copies selling on EBAY for as much as $600, which was the winning bid of the last copy sold from Italy in 2014.

As to grading, I grade very conservatively following Goldmine Record grading standard. Except that for records that are a notch below near mint, rather than VG ++, I prefer to use grade of Excellent. I do not use VG++ grade in addition to Excellent grade as is done by some.

The LP is in near mint condition and plays very quietly as tested using headphones.  The quality of the recording is the best I have ever heard of this title.( I own US, German and Japanese pressings of this title). Please note that this was cleaned before testing which was done few weeks before listing and done by hand and not machine. It should be cleaned again before listening. The cover is in excellent condition. The corners are slightly crimped and there is a crease in the top corner of the LP near the spine, as well as near the mouth. There is also the remnants of a sticker on the top front corner of the cover at spine. There is very slight rub wear on the top seam but no split. The bottom seam and spine are very strong and clean with no splits and the product information is clearly readable on spine. The front and back of cover overall are in very clean condition except as noted.

The LP is being sold without reserve and payment is expected within 3 days of auction close. Return of the LP will only be accepted if the same LP sold and shipped is returned. Buyers that behave in a less than ethical manner will be reported and blocked from participation in future auctions.
