The minds behind The Easy Access Orchestra are Ralph Lamb and Andy Ross, Herbaliser's horn section. Here they're grooving in a retro-bossa mode with electronica touches, lots of keyboards, horns and just a bit of vocals. Their sound is like a horizon on a Pan-Am First Class flight, chicks that chirp in a groovy mode and a fine brandy in a London club somewhere in 1966. It's like Burt Bacharach, Lalo Schifrin and Herb Alpert having decided that their previous works were just too frantic and lobbing a crateful of valium into the centre of their voluptuous vibe.
