Description
The Eat - God Punishes the Eat 7” + Catholic Love (Slow Version)/Subhuman TEST PRESSING 7”. This is a bit of an odd item that was used as a promo. The Deluxe version of the God Punishes Fanclub was made in a limited edition that included the 2nd 45, packaged with a pile of period inserts and a different sleeve. An addition of that version just sold a month or two ago for $100, while the regular single version has gone for $40-50. This is a copy of the regular EP edition with the last remaining copy of the test pressing 45 which has a small pressing defect at the very end of the grooves which causes 2-3 light ticks after the music is over and the needle is going to the runout groove. The 45 has the 2 loose pieces that were glued onto the sleeve and are unnumbered. This was a review copy that was sent to my old distro before the full deluxe version came out. Both records are NM- as are both sleeves, so if you need this ultra rare different recording of the Eat’s first single and can do without all the inserts of the deluxe edition this is your best shot for a while.
