Selling-up my extensive record collection. Lots of interesting LPs in the collection - do have a look at my other items, and there are new listings every week. Cover - Gatefold, laminated on the outside. This has survived well, little creases in from the edges, some scallop creases, and back is formed to the shape of the record. Not torn, split or written-on. There is a Harvest inner, typically discoloured from age, and with some surface wear. Not split or torn, but poly liner is not there. 

Record - Side one - there's a noticeable fingernail type mark at end of track one, going into track 2. Also short scratches (stylus or perhaps heavy fingernail marks), two on track 2, another on track 3, and a light one on track 4. On side 2, track one, a short fingernail mark at end of track, and a light scratch at the start of the track. I think I saw a long scratch along the grooves at the start of track 2. This may be one of those records that, the longer you stare at it, the more little light damages come to light.

However - I have play-tested side one - plays just fine when they're being their usual rowdy selves - track 2 is quiet in parts and you'll hear some crackles. Crackles again in quiet ending to track 3. Doesn't have constant background crackling, and doesn't jump or stick at any point. Sounds just as it should, not worn-out or beaten-to-death.

I have been collecting records for 50 years (when finances allowed!), and now it's time to sell-up. I bought them mostly around local shops (second-hand), but sometimes from e-bay, and sometimes new, for my favourite bands.

When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.

I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad. Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer.

They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer.

This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices.

E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme. Charges to the customer for delivery are whatever you're told they are - if you don't want to pay the postal / courier charges, then do not bid.

International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme.

If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid.

I WILL DEFINITELY NOT post to countries that are not included in the above lists, and I don't send to China.
