Description

Very collectible garage rock 45 from the 60's recorded at Musicol Studio.

The Record: New never circulated or played 45 RPM. Original paper sleeve. Side "A" She's Gone - Time 2:49 - Side "B" Worried Mind - Time 2:12. Both songs co-written by Fleischer / Cataline. Performed by The Edicates and recorded at Mus-I-Col studio in Columbus Ohio in 1967. Pamper Music Production BMI HR1151A / HR1151B. She's Gone was featured on Gravel Volume #2 CD - 30 Rare US sixties garage bands. The record is also ranked #348 out of the top 1,000 collectible 45's (G1000 list). 

Copies of this 45 in vg+ condition have sold on ebay for over $500. There is currently one for sale on Craig Moerer Records for $650.00.  The one I have for sale is extremely rare as it has NEVER been played or even placed on a turntable and it comes with the original paper sleeve. It has only been taken out of the sleeve to take this photo.  I will include a copy of the original handwritten sheet music for side “A” and “B”. Don’t miss out on this desirable collectible.  While visiting with our old bass player who now lives in California, I managed to talk him out of one of his two prized She’s Gone /Worried Mind 45’s. I can tell you I’ve searched high and low in and around Ohio and have been unable to find anymore of these locally. I was very excited to get my hands on this one as they are becoming extremely scarce.  Good luck with your bidding.

The Band:  This is Garage Rock at it’s very best. The Edicates were an Ohio rock band that came from the south side of Columbus in 1965. In 1966 they were Rollerland battle-of-the bands winners. Winning first prize gave them $250 cash and a recording contract with Mus-I-Col Studios in Columbus Ohio.

The Edicates played throughout Ohio in the mid 60's and appeared frequently on local teen TV show Dance Party. The record features Tim Fleischer on lead guitar, Mike Finks on Hammond Organ, Glen Cataline on drums and lead vocals and Mike Fitzgerald on bass. They were 16 years old when this recording was made.
