 • Other Info: In decades past, big companies used to hire musicians to write cheery corporate songs, operettas, or musicals.  The idea was that these works would motivate and lift the spirits of the workforce and impress clients with their alluring blend of marketing and music.  Sometimes the companies would press up a limited number of records of said musical, to be given out as souvenirs to the attendees of the convention where the performance took place.  Some of these works were dreadful, but this album is pretty great and sought after.   It was written by one Charles Title, and includes none other than the Anita Kerr Singers on some tracks.  The appeal for many who collect this kind of record is the wonderful sunshine pop vibe that permeates many of the songs here (some sections are quite reminiscent of the Constant Sound LP), all very nicely recorded.  Click here to hear the music: 70s Marketing Music: The Eight Seasons of Chromalox - YouTube
