Description
Undoubtedly marketed toward the hippie rock scene of 1967, The Electric Underground's sole LP was actually recorded in 1963 by Jerry Cole and various Wrecking Crew studio hacks and workaholics and previously issued as Billy Boyd 'Twangy guitars'. With no traces of Incense or Peppermints at all, what you do get is raunchy lo-fi proto-Cramps drag racing Rock n Roll. A soundtrack for pool halls, knife fights, and bad gals who don't say no, all with a genuine feel and approach. Actually a must have album if that's your bag, big Daddy. Are you hip or not. Cover with original shrinkwrap is in tight EX with no bends, tears, or splits. The vinyl does have, what appears some pressing defects, a few small raised spots that do not effect play, nor any needle jumps and will play through fine on your Technics SL-1200MK7-S.
Jerry Cole was also involved in the sessions that produced the groovy fuzzed up killer, The Animated Egg.
