Rare Stereo re-processed promo version of the
1957 mono release.
The Electrosoniks were two Dutch men who made some of the best electronic
themed music of the space pop era (mid/late 50's to early 70's, or so).
One listen to their 1957 release "electronic music" proves how on the money they were.
While most space pop of the period involved coupling a standard lounge tune with
the oddly warbled (and heavily reverb laden) tones of a theremin, "Electronic Music"
truly stepped out of its time, seemingly composed from/for the mindset of the future
in it's quirky use of tempo and harmony/melody. Also forward thinking is its use of
"studio as instrument" as it incorporates a good deal of sound collage that boarders
on music concrete territory
