The Exciters - Tell Him - 1962 - Original British Mono Pressing - United Artists Records, (ULP. 1032).
Classic 60s, Northern Soul rarity. Get it now, while you can!
The album cover is in VG condition. It shows signs of accumulated wear and tear over the last sixty two years, discolouration, foxing, mottling, significant amount of creasing to the spine, top and bottom seams included, fraying to opening of the sleeve, very small split can be found on the bottom right hand corner, previous owners name in biro on the rear, sticker on bottom right hand corner, lamination is still really glossy, but the un-laminated rear is not.
As you would expect from records of this period, it is incredibly hard to find them, especially one like this in any kind of condition. Way back in the 1960s, British record companies would press a very small quantity of albums from overseas groups and if they did not sell particularly well, these would be deleted and go out of print.
The inner sleeve is in VG condition. It shows signs of creasing, discolouration and a split down the left hand side.
The record is in VG condition. I have just recently deep cleaned this record on a record cleaning machine and the record has come up beautifully, really nice and shiny. There is quite a few surface marks and scuffs, both labels show a lot of spindle marks, light spindle wear, owners initials ‘PMC’ at the top of Side One, ZT tax code around the spindle hole on Side One.
The record has been professionally cleaned by myself on a Pro-Ject VC-S2 ALU record cleaning machine and comes supplied with a polypropylene outer sleeve for the album cover and a Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab inner sleeve for protection of the record. These sleeves are favoured among audiophiles and collectors alike for long term preservation of vinyl albums.
This package will be sent by Royal Mail. The type of delivery method is: Royal Mail Tracked 24. It will come to a total of £4.19. It is imperative for not just me, but the buyer to have a delivery service with tracking, so we can both make sure the record arrives promptly and safely. It is a small price to pay to avoid any major upset about a missing package.
I will be using a strong mailer with stiffeners and a fragile sticker to ensure that everything is safe and secure before dispatch. The record will be removed from its sleeve and placed behind it to avoid any potential seam splits during transit. This all comes free of charge.
