You are bidding on a mega rare 45 “Hip Drop Pt. 1 / Hip Drop Pt. 2” from the New Orleans’ soul group The Explosions, produced by Eddie Bo on the Gold Cup label (0005). This is one of my all-time favorite dance floor groovers and a must have for DJs who still spin vinyl and love the sound of New Orleans Funk.
Condition: EX: would be near mint if not for a minor surface scuff on Side A. Vinyl plays clean and true, virtually no surface noise on Side A, very light surface noise at the beginning of Side B, none through the rest. The label is pristine, other than some sticker residue on Side B.
