Description

A beautiful CBS reissue from 1969. Matrix A2/B2. If you're looking for a real sweet playing copy - this could be the one for you. Seventies copies weren't pressed anywhere near as solid as this copy from the late sixties. It's very preserved too - leading to a superb rendition. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover and CBS advertising inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In super condition and has only seen very light use. Under close inspection I can't make out anything more than a couple of very light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with two slight deviations. The audio quality manages to preserve all that lovely warmth from the original Philips pressing in 1958. You'll struggle to better this rendition..it's a humdinger for sure. Nothing more than a few crackles in a couple of spots per side. A very clean and super sounding copy. The one deviation is a pop in track 1 side 1, and then a further pop in track 1 on side 2. A small price to pay for a really top-level copy.
Cover (Ex-) In lovely condition with a nigh on faultless shiny front. Just a touch of left-over sticker residue in the top right corner. The rear has escaped the worst of the usual ageing process. Would garner a full Ex, but for the small stain down in the bottom left corner. Edge wear is minimal and the spine 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Lightly aged but no splitting.
