Description
A 1st pressing on the London label from 1960. Matrix 1B/1BStampers 1-C/1BB. Please note the labels mention 'recording 1st published' and are entirely consistent with 1st press. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover with flipbacks. Also included is a Decca company inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In super condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks. Nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are practically silent and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is very limited. All we could detect was a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments. It really is fantastically well preserved, particularly given its relative age. Difficult to better I'd imagine.
Cover (Ex-) Lovely shiny front with no creasing. There is, however, just the faintest hint of ageing creeping in now. The rear looks very clean with just a bit of ageing on the flipbacks - which are all still secure. Edge wear is very light and the there are no issues with the spine. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) No splits or markings. Minimal ageing.
