Description

An original 1st Press. Why bother with 1st?...These copies are near master and are pressed heavy.  Later reissues just do not have the clarity & immediacy in the audio - or the resilience to sustain a top level rendition. How do we know this is an early copy?...because the early copies must be on the green Warners label. Matrix A1/B1. But how do you identify earliest first...well in 1971 they are yet to mention 'Made in Uk'. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original 1st issue cover. These are better quality and do not mention Kinney distribution on the rear. The giant poster is PRESENT...3.5ft by 3ft! Gi-g-e-antic. And original inner make this copy 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In super condition and has only seen lightest careful use. Under close inspection I an only make out a couple of very slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. Super lustre. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Plays superb clean which is important for this style. Nothing annoying in the background. Just clean audio. You might pick out a few minor crackles in one isolated spot per side.  An excellent strike rate by any measure.
Cover (Ex-) In lovely condition and many original examples will not be looking this spritely after this passage of time. Lovely clean and flat front with only slight handling. The rear exhibits slightest handling but looking very smart. The spine is 90% intact. The cover retains excellent rigidity.
Poster..(Ex) . Superb. Really really very good indeed.
