Description
An original 1st press of Ooh La La on the Warners label in 1972. Matrix A2/B1. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original gimmick cover with working moving face elements. Also included is the original lyric sheet.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen the very lightest of use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Even the quiet tracks play nice and clean. Interference is pretty much non-existent. All we detected were a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments - i.e. very little at all. An impressively preserved record and a great rendition.
Cover (Ex-) Relatively clean front and back and certainly better than many examples that surface. All we can make out is some light foxing in places and one crease on the rear - nothing overtly obvious at all. Edge wear is light and the spine is 100% intact - which is unusual. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and remains a lovely example.
Poster (Ex+) Faultless. No ageing. No marks or tears.
