Description
Original UK Warner Bros green label stereo 1st press LP.The fourth LP by The Faces, recorded in London in late 1972 and released in March 1973. The sessions were marred by Rod Stewart's lack of interest and on its release his negative public comments on the album upset the rest of the band, leading to Ronnie Lane quitting after its release. The album was a success and reached number 1, but was the last real Faces album.
This is the original issue with the USA printed gatefold moving face cover and the fold-out poster of the band, with the early A-1 B-2 matrices of the first press!
The USA printed matt textured gatefold moving face sleeve is intact, fully working & in EX condition, with some very light edge/storage wear, a small pinhole and small areas of foxing on the outer cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain inner is intact & in EX condition and the poster is intact in EX+ condition. The record is in visually EX condition, with only a few faint & wispy sleeve removal hairlines and one or two small needle scuffs visible under on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of only a couple of faint spindle markings on each side. The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves, still a really great, loud & clear listen. The matrix nos. are; K-56011, A-1 stamper A-17, B-2, stamper A-28. This is one of the later copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1973 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!
All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund of original price & postage on return of the record (no partial refunds), no quibbles, no problems! All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2kg.
Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & non EU countries, including Russia, Finland, Norway, Sweden, etc.), the Rest of the World (Zones 1 & 2, including Canada, Japan, Australia, Brazil, Korea, China, South Africa, etc.) and even the USA, but airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to the 2kg weight restrictions.
