The Faces - Rod Stewart - Ooh La La - Warner Brothers/WEA Records Advanced Label Test Pressing - K56011 - 1973 UK First Pressing - Ex
This auction is for an advanced label test pressing of Rod Stewart and the Faces 4th and final studio album Ooh La La released on the Warner Brothers record label in 1973. This is a very rare original test pressing which comes with the Warner Brothers release schedule sheet dated 15th March 1973 a few weeks prior to the official release date of April 1973. Stampers are K56011 A1 A and also has the US catalogue number BS 2665 40314-1 etched into the run out grooves on side 1. K56011 B1 B BS 2665 40315-1 on side 2.
The vinyl has some very light surface marks where it has been removed from the inner sleeve but otherwise is in excellent condition and plays perfectly with no jumps or skips.
The sleeve is in excellent condition with no seam splits or tears. The release sheet is glued to the front of the cover and has some minor wear but doesn't detract from the overall quality.
Will be despatched in a strong cardboard record mailer.
