Description
A very rare original promotional Japanese pressing of the Fall's seminal album 'Grotesque' from 1980, issued on Rough Trade Records, complete with Obi and Insert, in EX condition.
The sleeve, which has a neat promotional sticker on the back, is in perfect condition apart from some creasing to the top left corner (see final picture). No marks, edge wear or ring wear.
The record is in EX condition. The side one label has the word 'promo' in Japanese stamped on it. The labels are clean, though there is some light spindling which is only visible under very strong light. The record only has a few very light marks visible under strong light which do not affect the audio. Japanese pressings from this era are renowned for their excellent audio quality, and this one is no exception - it sounds great, perfect to my ear, with minimal surface noise and no skips, jumps or loud clicks/pops.
Comes with obi and insert, both in EX condition (no tears, creases, etc.)
There are probably only a handful of these promotional copies, and probably barely any in this excellent condition. Low start, so grab yourself a bargain!
Your record will arrive with the record outside of its sleeve in an anti-static inner, in a resealable plastic wallet, ready to house in your collection. All records are packaged in the strongest purpose-built record mailers with cardboard stiffeners. Packages are emblazoned with ‘fragile’ notices.
