Description
Original single bought by myself in 1979 after hearing it on the John Peel Show, on the Manchester label - Streets Ahead SA3. I've just played it on my new deck and it sounds great. Obviously, its 37 odd years old so it's been played - it's a great tune - so has a slight "crackle" throughout, as pretty much most played records of this age do, but is barely noticeable.The record itself is visually excellent with a nice sheen (I'm not grading using Record Collector etc as I'm not up with all that malarkey, just my personal opinion) but has a couple of "scuffs" that in no way interfere with the smooth playing. No skips or "pops" whatsoever. It's also in the original picture cover which has ringwear marks, and the top opening of the sleeve is scuffed due, again, to the record being played. It's been sitting in my record box, untouched, for 35 odd years. A nice example of a pretty rare record.
