Description
1989 single on the Sarah 18 label The title is a nice ironic joke on the part of the band - because people who knew nothing about The Field Mice and mocked them for their wimpy sounding name would then attempt to review this record, preparing to give it a slagging, and then, once the needle hits the record, get whacked over the head by the sheer brilliance of the relentless guitar attack on this song. All five magnificent minutes of it. The B-side, of course, is the calm after the storm. Perfect. In a word. "Overlaid and distorted guitars, driving beat and bass and great lyrics, a perfect package." "Best indie pop single ever. No question about it. Makes me well-up every time." In v.good condition
