This is the first release by The Five Crowns, a group from Hammond, In Released in 1959 this was a novelty song, the "visitor" in the title ends up being the Purple People Eater's Son.
The second release by this group is considered one of the rarest Doo Wop recording and has been valued at $5000 dollars. De Besth was a small label with very few releases.
The record is in fair condition, it plays without skipping, however. Label wear isn't too bad. I did not play the flip side. The surface looks worse than it plays for sure. Still this is an extremely rare record and would be well worth adding to any collection.
This is NOT the Five Crowns that became the Drifters.
