Up for auction here is The Five Keys On The Town Score SLP-4003.
Prior to walking you through the condition of the LP and sleeve I ask that anyone serious about bidding on this LP to please contact me before bidding and I will email you a link to download a recording of the entire LP. I’m doing this so that you can hear, and more importantly, qualify for yourself the audio quality of this album. I’m not as well versed as I would like to be and selling an album like this is a first for me. Please do not request an audio file of the recording if you just want a copy to listen to. The reason I am offering the audio link is because, as we all know, this is a rare record and I feel I owe it to the winner to know exactly what he or she is paying for.
As you can see, the cover is not in very great shape. I would grade it G+. There are split seems on two of the three sides. See photo number 1 and 2 for a visual.
I would grade the LP as VG- or G++, showing surface and scratch marks on both sides while still showing plenty of shine. There is sizzle between and during tracks and surface noise throughout. There are no skips on either side. Most importantly, please refer to the audio sample to come to your own conclusion as to the audio grading of this album.
In closing, and because of my inexperience, I would appreciate it very much if anyone viewing this auction would share with me anything they see in my description that they feel is inaccurate or could be improved upon. All comments will be posted at the bottom of the auction page.
Shipping and handling is $3 and I don’t ship outside of the US. Other places I do not ship to are Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico. I do not accept returns.
