Description
Punchy, exciting and extremely rare soul/funk/psych/rock from South Africa. This is the 1972 reissue of the 1967 original, issued on Rave.
The Flames featured famed guitarist Blondie Chaplin, who later played with The Beach Boys and The Rolling Stones. The band moved to London in 1968 and then to California in 1969. They recorded the album The Flame under the supervision of Carl Wilson from The Beach Boys, and drummer Ricky Fataar was later part of The Rutles with Neil Innes.
The flimsy sleeve has held together well and is in at least VG+ order.
The vinyl plays through really well with minimal surface noise and grades VG++ to EX.
Black and silver labels are in close to Excellent order, and it comes with a plain white paper inner sleeve in excellent shape.
Original plastic outer bag with South African price label.
