From Grokipedia:
Heady Nuggs is a series of limited-edition reissue box sets by the American rock band The Flaming Lips, focusing on remastered vinyl and CD editions of their early Warner Bros. Records albums from 1992 to 2002, celebrating the band's psychedelic and experimental sound during their formative years.[1][2]The inaugural release, Heady Nuggs: The First 5 Warner Bros. Records 1992-2002, was issued on April 16, 2011, as a Record Store Day exclusive limited to 1,000 copies, featuring six colored 120g vinyl LPs remastered at Bernie Grundman Mastering.[1] This box set compiles the band's first five Warner Bros. albums: Hit to Death in the Future Head (1992, pink vinyl), Transmissions from the Satellite Heart (1993, white vinyl), Clouds Taste Metallic (1995, orange vinyl), The Soft Bulletin (1999, blue/teal vinyl), and Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots (2002, hot pink vinyl).[1] Each album includes printed inner sleeves with lyrics, credits, and artwork, while the box itself features evocative quotes on its rim, such as "Something in you, it jitters like a moth and I see that your arms are out to God."[1] Produced primarily by Dave Fridmann, these reissues highlight the band's evolution from lo-fi indie rock to orchestral psychedelia, with core members Wayne Coyne, Michael Ivins, and Steven Drozd contributing across the set.[1]Very little wear. Discs are in excellent condition.
