The Flying Burrito Bros "The Flying Burrito Bros"

This is an original US vinyl pressing on A&M 4175 from 1971.  This was their first album on the original label.    It sold poorly when released, but is now considered essential early country/rock.    The band is Gram Parsons ( from The International Submarine Band ) , Chris Hillman ( from The Byrds ), Chris Ethridge (from Joel Scott Hill/John Barbata/Chris Ethridge ), and Sneaky Pete ( famous country session player ).     It was produced by The Burritos, Larry Marks, and Henry Lewy.   Cover art direction is by Tom Wilkes and The Boys In Graphics, plus Michael Vosse.    Cover photos are by Barry Feinstein.

The songs are :  Christine's Tune, Sin City, Do Right Woman, Dark End Of The Street, My Uncle, Wheels, Juanita, Hot Burrito #1, Hot Burrito #2, Do You Know How It Feels, and Hippie Boy.  

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ /  Record is M-

The cover is VG+ with no writing and no seam splits.   There is light partial ring wear on the front cover at top center and on the back at bottom center.  The bottom right corner has a slight bend.   The vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint.    Side one has 2 light handling marks that can be seen, but no heard.   The labels are clean with light spindle marks.  The record comes in an A&M inner sleeve.

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.  

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 5 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 21 ounces ( 1 pound, 5 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.    You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.      ( Buyers from Brazil must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )      I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
