The Flying Burrito Bros "The Gilded Palace Of Sin"
This is an original US vinyl pressing on A&M 4175 from 1969. This is a stereo white label promo copy of their 1st album. The front cover has the sticker that says : 'This Disc Employs The CSG Process And May Be Played Either Stereo or Monaurally'.
This group helped create country rock. The band is : Gram Parsons, Chris Hillman, Chris Ethridge, and Sneeky Pete. They used four different drummers on this album. Gram Parson co-wrote nine of the songs : six with Chris Hillman, two with Chris Ethrige, and one with Goldberg from The International Submarine Band days. It was produced by The Burritos, Larry Marks, and Henry Levy. Tom Wilkes did the cover design and Barry Feinstein took the pictures.
Overall Condition is : Cover is M- / Record is M-
The cover is Mint minus with no ring wear, no writing , and no seam splits. There is light overall wear and some seam wear. The vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint, with a couple light handling marks. The labels are clean with light spindle marks. The record comes in an A&M inner sleeve.
The songs are : Christine's Tune, Sin City, Do Right Woman, Dark End Of The Street, My Uncle, Wheels, Juanita, Hot Burrito #1, Hot Burrito #2, Do You Know How It Feels, and Hippie Boy.

I started collecting records in 1966. I started selling in Goldmine in 1985. I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.
Packaging :
I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard. Together they are very strong and unbendable. ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! ) I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic album sleeve. The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.
Postage : Weight : 1 pound 5 ounces
You have to pay for the postage. I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office changes. There are no handling charges. This record will weigh 21 ounces ( 1 pound, 5 ounces ) when ready to ship. US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail. All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an email with the tracking number. Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International. I will let you know the date I mailed your record and the US customs number. ( Buyers from Italy must assume all risks for shipping to their country. ) I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday) I will combine shipping if you win more than one record. Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
