Description

Franklin Mint Box Set entitled: "The Greatest Jazz Recordings Of All Time." 25 four album box sets, with gold lettering on the covers and leather bindings. The wooden case, provided by the Franklin Mint when you completed buying the full set, is included.

Each box contains four LPs, pressed on 160-gram, dark red vinyl, for a total of 100 albums. Over 1200 Tracks in all. Each set has an accompanying booklet describing the music on that set.

The collection was curated over a period of several years (1983-85) by the noted jazz critic and music scholar Dan Morgenstern.
