Description
Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs audiophile 45rpm double LP version of the Bob Dylan's superb 2nd LP 'The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan'. This record is as new, except for a small seam split (5cm) in the centre of the top of both halves of the gatefold sleeve. I have professionally cleaned this LP which I do with all vinyl before I play it, and played it once on state of the art equipment. Sonically this LP is outstanding with a supremely quiet background. It is wonderful dynamic with a natural timbre, great detail and soundstaging.
The USA based company Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs are one of the most respected audiophile record labels. These incredible pressings are sure to become collector's items. They are pressed on extremely high quality 200 gram vinyl. The LP comes in a beautiful gatefold cover which is really nice as the original didn't have this. The inner card inserts are included as are the original archival quality MFSL inner sleeves.
This LP is to be played at 45 rpm. This gives better dynamic range and detail than even Mobile Fidelity's 33 rpm pressings. This is about as good as it gets.
I have tried to photograph the LP as faithfully as possible. I have not used Photoshop or any other type of photo enhancement.
This album, as with all my records, is carefully cleaned and vacuum dried on a Loricraft record cleaning machine using L'Art du Son record cleaning fluid. It is then placed in a new poly-lined anti-static inner sleeve and play-tested on a state-of-the-art record playing system. It may play significantly better than I have graded it on a lower resolution system.
To protect the LP in transit it will be packed in a new cruciform LP mailer with stiffening card inserts. The LP and inner sleeve will be packed outside of the cover to protect against seam splits during transit. Unless requested otherwise I will send all records by 2nd class recorded delivery which has limited insurance.
