part of the golden fleece of record collecting..this is an auction for the Freewheeling Bob Dylan lp with the wrong songs printed on the cover jacket.
This is stereo lp CS 8786 the cover lists titles that were witdrawn , there are seven different variations of this record including promos. Of course the lp with the mistitled selection that actually plays the tracks is the ultimate rare Dylan .The rords that do play these tracks were not included with the jacket that was mistitled ..This jacket is extremely rare !!!
Jacket and disc are both in great condition..NO SPLIT SEAMS !!
There was an article a few years ago in Record Collector magazine that stated these mistitled jackets were from Canada and had catalogue number CL 1986..
WELL..this one has the mistitled cover and its catalogue number is CS 8786..is this even rarer ??????
one of the mistitled songs here is Solid Road which of course is one of the withdrawn tracks but it is actually called Rocks and Gravel..seems columbia really messed up on this one.
The listing one the front of the jacket don`t even match the ones on the back..check the scan...
