For sale is this UK original vinyl 7" single, in a record company sleeve, by The Fruit Eating Bears. Entitled Door In My Face, the B-side is Going Thru The Motions. The A-side was an unsuccessful entrant in the UK Song For Europe competition to select the UK's 1978 Eurovision Song Contest entry. On the DJM label, the catalogue number is DJS 10857 and the date of issue is 1978.
Condition
The vinyl is in Very Good Plus condition.
The labels are in Very Good Plus condition with clear, perfect printing and no spindle marks but a very faint sticker mark on the A-side (see pics).
The record company sleeve has a couple of tiny tears and a bit of creasing.
All vinyl records are strictly graded according to Record Collector magazine's grading system, the long established UK standard, with any specific flaws mentioned along with the grading. They are sent in custom-made mailers, with built-in or added stiffeners, and are packaged outside their sleeves to prevent edge splits. Singles without a picture sleeve will either have a plain sleeve or a correct-era original (not repro) record company sleeve (stated above). Original record company sleeves may not be the exact sleeve issued with the single so may have a different catalogue number hand-written in the corner but they will be the correct design for the single. They may have a bit of wear, writing, stickers, sticker marks etc but will be in a generally good, useable condition without edge splits or sellotape.
