This is a sealed mint 1966 stereo pressing of the first LP by the Fugs. This version is very rare psychedelic wizard cover which rarely is available. 

 The Fugs, described in their AllMusic profile were"arguably the first underground rock group of all time.  In 1965, their debut album charted #142 on Billboard's "Top Pop Albums" chart. The album was originally released in 1965 as The Village Fugs Sing Ballads of Contemporary Protest, Point of Views, and General Dissatisfaction on Folkways Records before the band signed up with ESP-Disk, who released the album under its own label with a new name in 1966.

The LP is completely sealed. The corners of the cover are sharp at the top of the cover and slightly worn at the bottom.  The seams and spine are solid with no visible wear. The front cover has slight yellowing at the bottom. Back cover is very clean. The LP is being sold without reserve and payment is expected within 3 days of auction close. Return of the LP will only be accepted if the LP is returned still sealed. 

Shipping via media mail is $4 per LP including tracking and usually will be done within 24 hours of receipt of payment. Save me as a seller as I have about 150 sealed rare 1960's and 1970's This is a near mint pressing of the MFSL pressing of The Beatles, Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band,  issued in 1982 by MFSL and pressed at half speed in Japan by JVC (Japan Victor Company) on virgin vinyl. (Vinyl is opaque with light passing through). This is an extremely rare pressing

The LP itself is in beautiful near mint condition with no visible marks. The LP plays beautifully quiet. Note that the LP was tested several weeks prior to listing and cleaned by hand and not machine. It should be cleaned again before play. The cover is in excellent condition.   Four of the six corners on gatefold cover show very slight wear. The top two corners on the front half of the gatefold appear sharp. There is very slight discoloration along the top og the top seam but no splits. The bottom seam and the spine are very strong with just slight spot wear on the bottom of seam near the mouth. The product information on the spine is clearly readable The front and back of the cover are exceptionally clean and vibrant as is the inside of the gatefold. .The original issued plastic inner record sleeve as well as the cardboard promotional insert holder are also included.

As to grading I grade very conservatively following Goldmine Record grading standard. Except that for records that are a notch below near mint, I prefer use of grade of Excellent rather tag Very Good ++ I do not use this grade in addition to Excellent grade as is done by some.

The LP is being sold without reserve and payment is expected within 3 days of auction close. Return of the LP will only be accepted if the same LP sold and shipped is returned in the same condition .Buyers that behave in a less than ethical manner will be reported and blocked from participation in future auctions. The LP will be separated from the cover when shipped to prevent seam splitting.
