For sale is It's Uptown with The George Benson Quartet, released in 1966 by Columbia Records. It is the first pressing and in the dead wax between the last track and the label are matrix #'s 1-B/1-B, signifying that this is an early pressing. Bottom line is that this produced the best possible sound. I bought this and played it carefully on a reference quality turntable and cartridge. One of the first things I do with a new purchase is that I immediately put the album into a protective inner sleeve like a MFSL or its equivalent. Doing this protects the integrity of the original inner sleeve. The cover is Excellent with a hint of ring wear. The spine is Near Mint. This is still one of the best copies that I have ever heard or seen and you would be hard pressed to find a better one. After-all, it's 50 years old! The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint. I have more jazz albums, as well as records of all genres in my Ebay store. Please take a look, as they're all in Near Mint condition. Thank you for viewing my listing. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
