Description

This is a mono first pressing of this fine album, on Columbia , cat. no. 33SX 1711. The sleeve is basically intact, with a tear of about 2 inches half way up the opening edge. It has been repaired with sellotape, in a fairly unobtrusive way, on the front (laminated) cover only. There is also a very small tear to the top edge. Apart from these, it is pretty sound - the back cover is yellowed with age as you'd expect, and there are some minor visible creases in the front lamination, mostly near the edges. The vinyl is still shiny, although with scuffing across the surface, and there are some fingerprint marks and a couple of small sticky patches, which should clean off with proper cleaning. It actually plays reasonably well, although with surface noise to give it that authentic 60's ambience - I've certainly enjoyed listening to it. It's really hard to grade a record like this, without being too influenced by it's age and scarcity, but I would probably place it between VG & VG+ with a clean conscience.
