I am not a dealer, and all items offered for sale are from my personal collection. I do use my personal knowledge and the guidance available on the internet & eBay to describe my items accurately. It is important to me that buyers are happy with their purchases particularly those items which I have owned for a long time, and am often reluctant to sell.

I grade my records in line with  UK Record Collector grading system. As follows:

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.

Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Live/Dead is the first official live album released by the Grateful Dead. Recorded over a series of concerts in early 1969 and released later the same year, it was the first live rock album to use 16-track recording.

At the time of its release, the music critic Robert Christgau wrote that side two of the double album "contains the finest rock improvisation ever recorded." A landmark live album, that captured the Grateful Dead's improvisations at their best, 

I have not had an opportunity to play the records, but visual inspection shows all 4 Sides are in excellent near mint condition due to only being played a couple of times. This will be the case with most of my records as I used to copy them to other “recording formats”

The cover is also in very good condition with only minor creasing to top left side there are no tears or splits, the records have been carefully stored - it has not seen daylight for at least 25 years!

I always pack my records very well using proper record mailers with added stiffeners. Postage in the UK depending on the item value is either 1st Class signed for or Special Next Day Delivery
