The Grateful Dead 'The Grateful Dead' (1967) MONO RED LABEL Warner Brothers Records W1689 1st UK Pressing!
The Matrix Numbers (As best as I can decipher) are : W1689A 1 S W1689B 1 S
The front of the sleeve is in GOOD vintage condition, with some creases (mainly in the bottom right hand corner) and minor wear and tear. The back of the sleeve is torn in the bottom left hand corner and has some wear and tear and yellowing around the edges. The original 'mono' inner sleeve has some minor tears, creases and yellowing. The red record labels are in very good condition, with some blemishes and ring wear around the centre.The vinyl is in GLOSSY VERY GOOD PLUS CONDITION, BUT PLEASE SEE LAST PHOTO showing some long scuffs / very light scratches across Side 1 tracks 3 to 6 (Good Morning, Cold Rain and Snow, Sitting On Top Of The World and Cream Puff War) and another scuff / light scratch across Side 2 track 1 (Morning Dew) which do not effect play and are inaudible. They look far worse on the photo than in reality and they do not affect the sound quality at all. The heavy quality vinyl record plays very well, both sides, with some atmospheric surface crackling and a few minor clicks, but no jumping. Sounds amazing!
