Description

  • The Great Composers and Their Music, is a collection of the finest Classical Compositions from the World's best Composers. It  comprises Fifty Two LP's from the Decca - Philips- and Deutsche Grammophon studios. Four Periods are covered in this festival of Music:
  • 1. The Romantic Era: Beethoven's 5th Symphony-Berlioz Symphony Fantastique etc.
  • 2. Baroque & Classical: Handel Fireworks-Vivaldi Four Seasons etc.
  • 3. Age of Nationalism: Ravel Bolero-Sibelius Finlandia-Grieg Peer Gynt etc.
  • 4. Twentieth Century: Elgar Enigma-Holst The Planets-Gershwin Rhapsody in Blue etc.
  • The records are enclosed in two rigid storage cases, and each is accompanied with a Guide Book detailing the Composer's life, historical background and listening guide. The guides themselves are bound in Five sturdy binders, and the collection is complemented with an additional Thirteen LP's giving an introduction to the Great Age of Opera covering Operas such as: Madame Butterfly-La Boheme-Aida-Carmen and many more
  • A total of Sixty Five LP's make this an exceptional opportunity for a discerning music lover, to own not only the best in Classical Music but a Documented Library of fully illustrated information too. It is listed as - Used, but the whole is in as near as Mint condition as is possible, 95% of these records have never been played.
